• Examinees should report before 06:30 in the morning every examination day. LATE EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
• Bring the following: Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, pencils no. 1 or 2, black ball pens, metered-stamped window mailing envelope**, long brown and long plastic envelopes.
• CELLULAR PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Wear the prescribed dress code.

Manila/NCR Room Assignments for June 2022 LET

• Negative results of Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) Test taken at least three (3) to five (5) days before the first day of the licensure examination;
• Certificate of Quarantine stating the period of quarantine, and the last day of quarantine should have been completed at least (3) to five (5) days before the first day of examination; and
• Original and Photocopy of Vaccination Card of fully vaccinated examinees.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: June 2022 LET, Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) room assignments few weeks before the exams.

The Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) will be conducted on June 26, 2022 at PRC testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Catanduanes, Catarman, Kidapawan, Jolo, Sulu, and Tawi-tawi.

The Board of Professional Teachers is headed by its Chairman, Glenda S. Arquiza, and its members, Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Vice Chairman Dr. Paz Lucido, and its members Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

What to bring on the day of LET?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

• Notice of Admission
• Official Receipt
• One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
• Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
• Ball pens (black ink only)
• One (1) piece long brown envelope
• One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
• Health Forms (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01, series of 2020)
• Negative RT-PCR Test Results (if applicable), or Certificate of Quarantine or copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

• For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
• For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
• Examinees shall be well-groomed, with hair properly clipped and/or pony tailed.

What are not allowed during board exams?

• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
• Calculators regardless of model or unit (except for examinees with Mathematics major)
• Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes;
• Bags of any kind

On the use of calculator

Examinees for the secondary level with major in Mathematics are allowed to use calculators. However, the calculator must only include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm and xy functions.

One (1) calculator will be allowed inside the examination room per examinee which will also be thoroughly inspected by the examination personnel.

Board exams during the COVID-19 pandemic

The following precautionary health and safety guidelines shall be observed at all times during the conduct of the PRC licensure exams:

• Wearing of face mask and face shield. Examinees are also required to bring alcohol-based sanitizers.
• Examination personnel shall be provided with face mask, face shield and latex gloves.
• Observe physical distancing by maintaining 1-meter distance from one another.
• Body temperature will be checked using thermal scanner prior to entry at examination premises. Those with fever, colds or cough are not allowed to take the exams. Their payment will not be forfeited and can be used in the next licensure exam.
• Examinees are advised to bring their food as they will not be allowed to exit the examination room during break time and lunch time.
• Examinees shall sanitize before entering the examination room, after using the rest room and before distribution of test questionnaires.

PRC added that they will not be responsible of any lost personal belongings.

The list of room assignments for the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Architects is released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) weeks before the exams. See room assignments for examinees for different testing sites below!

The exams will be conducted in different parts of the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The exam is administered by the Board of Architecture headed by the chairman Robert S. Sac and members Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc and Robert M. Mirafuente.

• calculators with the following features only – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm and xy
• pencils, drawing pens, erasers, and other tools for sketching purposes
• graphing paper (used/unused will be surrendered to the room watcher/s after the conduct of examination)
• printed copy of Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096 or the “1977 National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP)”. The printed copy shall be subject to inspection during the examination. This will be confiscated in the event that any markings are found thereon.
• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula (except Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096/1977 NBCP as qualified below)
• PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS
• CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, SMART WATCHES, BLUETOOTH and other electronic gadgets/devices which may be used for communication purposes.
• Any type of bag
• Other examination aides not stated
• For male examinees, a tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.
• For female examinees, a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.

During the PRC licensure exams, the following precautionary health and safety rules must be followed at all times:

• Observe physical distancing of at least two (2) meters between examinees.
• Examinees shall be restricted to their assigned seat;
• Wear face mask (at least 3-ply surgical mask, preferably N95 mask) and face shield at all times; 
• Bring 70% ethyl alcohol for hand disinfection;
• Avoid close contacts like “beso-beso”, hugging, handshake, and directly touching other persons;
• Avoid touching one’s eyes, nose, and mouth;
• When sneezing and/or coughing, facial tissues must be used to wipe the nose and mouth areas. Dispose of used facial tissues properly; and
• Avoid spitting in public, on floors, and along corridors.

• Has not been dishonorably discharged from military service, or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government; and

CSC provides reminders for upcoming June 2022 examinations

With a total of 135,058 examinees expected to take the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on Sunday, June 19, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) issued some reminders on Monday, June 13.

CSC said that examinees may already check their school assignments by checking the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) on the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph or inquiring with the concerned CSC Regional Office. They are also strongly advised to read the “Examinee’s Guide in Taking CSE-PPT” to be familiar with the whole examination process.

As a must, CSC reminded that examinees must wear a face mask upon entry and at all times within the testing venue. Fully vaccinated examinees must bring a proof of full vaccination; if otherwise, they must present a negative RT-PCR/saliva/antigen test result.

Examinees should also bring the following requirements:

• Valid ID card, preferably the same ID card presented during the filing of application.
• Health Declaration Form, pre-accomplished not earlier than one day or within 24 hours prior to exam day. The temperature reading will be supplied upon going through thermal scanning at the main entrance of the testing venue.
• Certificate of Consent
• Black ballpen/s. Borrowing or sharing of ballpen shall not be allowed.
• Personal alcohol or sanitizer, not more than 100 mL in size

Gates of testing venues shall close at exactly 7:45 a.m. and examinees who arrive late shall not be admitted.

"Thus, they are advised to visit or conduct an ocular inspection of the venue beforehand to be familiar with its location, route/direction to take, available means of public transport, among other considerations," CSC said.

CSC also stated that examinees may also bring water in a clear or transparent container, as well as candies or biscuits, which may only be consumed outside the testing room upon approval of the Room Examiner or Proctor.

As for the prohibited acts, CSC reminded examinees that bringing the test booklet out of the testing room or venue is strictly prohibited.

"Likewise, examinees are not allowed to bring with them to their seat devices such as cellular phones, smart watch, or any other gadgets that can be used to capture an audio or video recording of any portion of the test materials or of the exam process," it added.

Moreover, the following acts of cheating under Republic Act No. 9416 or the Anti-Cheating Law shall be prohibited:

• Impersonation;
• Use of codigo or crib sheets;
• Employing a poste or a person inside or outside of the examination room who may or may not be a registered examinee but who provides examinees with answers or "codigo" or "crib sheets" or such other assistance purportedly to enhance examinee’s better chances of passing;
• Tampering with the examination records such as the Answer Data Files, the Application Forms or the Picture-Seat Plan to facilitate the passing of an examinee who have failed;
• Collusion of whatever nature between examinees and examination personnel;
• Examinee number switching;
• Such other acts of similar nature which facilitate the passing of an examination.

Those found in violation of R.A. 9416 may be meted the penalty of imprisonment of not less than 6 years and 1 day but not more than 12 years, and a fine of not less than P50,000.
